    It costs £2,399 to join the programme. This package includes return economy flights from London Heathrow, along with three nights’ accommodation at a 4-star hotel located in one of Johannesburg’s most prestigious neighbourhoods. All ground transportation and return airport transfers to and from O. R. Tambo International Airport are provided for your convenience. Enjoy daily buffet breakfasts, traditional South African lunches, and dinners at some of Johannesburg’s finest restaurants—each meal paired with a curated selection of local wines and soft drinks. You’ll also receive full access to the programme: a rare opportunity to exchange ideas, gain new insights, and connect with a hand-picked group of like-minded professionals. Many participants also use corporate CSR budgets or professional development funds to cover the cost, while others secure sponsorships through their networks or employer support.
  • Who is eligible to take part in the programme?
    The programme is open to professionals from all industries who are eager to share their experience, knowledge, and insight. You don’t need teaching experience — just a willingness to engage, mentor, and inspire.
  • Are there any scholarships or funded places available?
    A limited number of partially funded places may be available through our partners or sponsors. You’re welcome to indicate your interest in financial support when applying, and we’ll provide further information if applicable.

    You’ll be working with motivated students aged 16 and over, each carefully selected for their ambition, dedication to learning, and potential to thrive. These may include high school students nearing graduation, university students, or adult learners actively pursuing personal and professional growth. All come from under-resourced backgrounds — which is precisely why your experience and perspective can make such a powerful and lasting impact.
  • How many professionals take part in each programme?
    Each cohort is intentionally kept small — typically around 9 - 12 professionals — to foster meaningful interaction, collaboration, and an intimate, impactful experience.
  • How many students partake in each programme?
    Each programme typically involves 30 to 40 students, carefully selected from partner schools or organisations. This group size allows for meaningful interaction, focused mentorship, and a collaborative environment where both students and mentors can truly engage and make an impact.
  • Do I need to have experience teaching?
    No prior experience is required. Our educational team runs the structure of the programme — your role is to share real-world knowledge, offer guidance, and be a positive influence.
  • Will I receive a schedule or itinerary in advance?
    Yes. Once your place is confirmed, you’ll receive a detailed itinerary outlining the programme, key timings, and activities, along with travel and packing advice.
  • What kind of support will I receive during the programme?
    You’ll be fully supported by our on-the-ground team of programme coordinators and educators. From logistics to mentorship guidance, we’re there to make your experience smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free.
  • When do the programmes take place?
    Our programmes run throughout the year to accommodate different schedules. You’ll have the flexibility to choose a date that works best for you once your application is accepted.

    Yes! Successful applicants are given a range of upcoming programme dates and can select the one that best fits their calendar.
  • How many days do I need to commit to the programme?
    The core programme runs over three full days, typically from morning to mid-afternoon. This allows time in the evenings to relax, network, or explore Johannesburg. If you opt for the Dinokeng extension, you’ll add an additional four nights to your stay.
  • Do I need to be available for the full duration?
    Yes. To ensure the best experience for both students and peers, participants are expected to be fully present for all three days of the core programme.

If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to a brief video call so we can get to know you better, talk you through the experience in more detail, and answer any questions.
  • How long does it take to hear back after applying?
    We aim to respond to all applications within 7–10 working days.
  • Will I have free time during my trip?
    Yes, the programme is designed with balance in mind. Sessions typically run from morning to mid-afternoon, leaving ample time to unwind, explore Johannesburg, or connect with fellow professionals before meeting again for dinner. For those looking to extend their adventure, a four-night add-on at Dinokeng Game Reserve is available from £699. This premium package includes luxury accommodation in the heart of the bush, eight guided game drives led by an expert ranger, daily breakfasts, an exclusive wine tasting experience, and a complimentary back, neck, and shoulder massage — the perfect way to unwind and immerse yourself in South Africa’s natural beauty.
