Hints of South Africa was founded by Annie, a British traveller whose heart was captured by the wild beauty of the African bush. What began as a deep love for South Africa’s landscapes, animals and culture soon grew into a desire to give back to the country that had given her so much. With this mission in mind, she created Hints of South Africa — a platform to share her passion and help others experience the richness, diversity, and warmth of this remarkable place.

After making a home in Pretoria with her South African husband, Nick, Annie still felt the pull of travel — the spark of adventure and the connection to people from different walks of life. Together, they set out to bring that same sense of purpose-driven exploration to South Africa by designing experiences that connect global travellers, professionals, and changemakers with the people and communities who make this country so special.
